Aerial Guidelines

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) allows flights only during daylight hours.  30min before official sunrise to 30min after official sunset is allowed with appropriate anti-collision lighting.  Without prior authorization from the FAA, night time flights are prohibited.

Flights with a small UAS(Unmanned Aircraft System) over anyone who is not directly participating in the operation, not under a covered structure, or not inside a covered stationary vehicle is prohibited.  Conducting safe and responsible flights is our utmost priority, in addition to complying with FAA rules and regulations.

The UAS must be kept within unaided sight (for example, no binoculars).

Waivers can be requested of most operational restrictions if it can show that the proposed operation can be conducted safely. 

Depending on the time of year and weather.  We may need to add a 24hr buffer to your schedule to account for weather-related delays.  Optimal conditions include little to no cloud cover and less than 15mph winds.

Our scope of work is intended for small to medium size projects.  Most Photogrammetry projects are controlled with Survey Grade GPS equipment.  Unless specified by the client, all Models/Mapping deliverables are for preliminary design planning or As-built purposes and are not to be used for legal binding property boundary Surveys.
